The Contributor is expected to exhibit the following behaviour:
Is results-oriented and contributes mainly through actions and concrete deliverables and to a lesser extent through discussion and opinion.
Creates and maintains relationships and builds trust inside the community.
Promotes and contributes to a culture of support, creativity, transparency, respect and inclusiveness through deed and word, steadily increasing the understanding and implementation of responsible design.
Leads by example through positive support, space and constructive criticism rather than ego, authority and control.
Is open to constructive feedback and gives constructive feedback to others as equals.
Regularly reflects on themselves to see how the Contributor can be most effective in the community. This includes the Contributor keeping him/herself updated on relevant and in-demand skills, tools, trends and technologies and making them his own when relevant.
Helps others and timely asks for help in the community.
Actively participates in and contributes to common activities, meetings and events.
Promotes the community to the outside world, actively and visibly representing the community's values and beliefs.
Protects the confidentiality and integrity of information belonging to the community and its clients, using secure practices such as unique passwords, a password manager, two-factor authentication, and up-to-date devices.
Follows all client and legal requirements related to information security, uses only approved tools for handling data, and acts with awareness of online threats such as phishing. When unsure, the Contributor consults others before acting.
Reports potential security incidents promptly and ensures access to systems is handled responsibly when roles change.
